Division Part Two

 
 
 
 

Skills Needed Before Starting this Block:

Student will need to be able to add together a column of numbers where all of the numbers to be added together are smaller than 1,000.  Student will need to be able to subtract any number smaller than 1,000 from any other number smaller than 1,000.

Student will need to be able to count by 2’s to 20 (2, 4, 6, 8, etc.), by 3’s to 30, by 4’s to 40, and so forth starting with any number that is smaller than 11 (in other words, up to and including by 10’s to 100).

Student will need to be able to know by heart the answer to any multiplication problem where both of the numbers to be multiplied together are smaller than ten.

Student will need to be able to immediately say the answer to any multiplication problem where one of the numbers to be multiplied together is 10 and the second number is less than 100.

Student will need to be able to work out the answer to any multiplication problem where both of the numbers to be multiplied together are smaller than 100.

If it is a struggle for student to read the instructions on these pages, then the instructions should be read by an adult (these lessons are supposed to help student with math, not reading).
